Event and camping information

Ticket Office closes at 8pm for booking in on Friday & Saturday, 3pm on Sunday.

Main gates open at Noon Friday 11th to allow for setting tents up etc. Gates open 9am each day on Saturday 12th, Sunday 13th, Monday 14th August. Gates will be locked from 1.30am Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We ask you leave the campsite by midday Monday 14th August.

In the event of an emergency on the campsite or if you need to leave the campsite during the hours the gates are locked there will be emergency numbers displayed in the courtyard of the farm and at the ticket office. ALWAYS DIAL 999 FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCIES.

Some camping areas are a little 'hilly' please camp wisely!
Tents, caravans, campervans and mobile homes welcome ALL FREE OF CHARGE. Booking pitches not necessary, pitches on first come first served basis..

Sorry but there are no electric hook ups on site. Electric sockets available in shower room for hair drying.
There will be a designated field for Astronomers to observe. This field is for those who bring astronomical equipment to use.
RED torch light only is to be used in this field at night. Laser pens can be used for educational purposes to point to what is where in the night sky. Please be mindful that using bright lights in the top field as this will be disruptive to Astro Photography.

People with Astronomical Equipment are not obliged to camp in the Red Torch Field and can take their equipment to the Red Torch Field as and when needed.

You will find drinking water taps in camping areas.

Indoor catering available. Limited options for special dietary requirements, please ask at catering area for more information.

Chemical waste disposal will be signposted from the courtyard to the farm as you drive in. (NOT the courtyard to the indoor area).

Please bring everything necessary for your trip including a bowl to wash your pots and pans, washing up liquid and enough tea towels to last the weekend. Don't use the blue roll from the toilets to dry up please, people need that to dry hands on.

There are good toilet facilities in the main courtyard to the indoor venue. We encourage you to use these facilities as porta loos can be messy but we will provide a couple of toilets in the top field for night time use! Please refrain from emptying waste down these!

All facilities, the main stage, food areas and lecture areas have disabled access.

All camping areas can be accessed by car.

There will be plenty of bins around the campsite for you to dispose of your rubbish. If you need spare rubbish bags, we will provide these free of charge from the ticket office. Please help us to keep this beautiful place clean and tidy. Please note there are no recycling facilities on site, if you wish to recycle please take it home as the centre in Builth has closed.
